From January 26 - February 25 2006, the backroom was hosted by New Langton Arts and San Francisco Camerawork. This was the first collaboration between the two non-profit organizations who share this gallery space in the city. The presentation allowed the full archive to be presented, as well as accommodating new contributions. An event with Kota Ezawa became the first of a series of projects whereby artists will be developing film nights that reveal how the medium has influenced their thinking.
