Jeremy Deller
Jeremy Deller is an artist currently living in London. Recent solo shows include This ISUS, MUSIC from Appenzell, Neue Kunst Halle St. Gallen (2004); New Works: 03.3, Art Pace, San Antonio (2003); After the Goldrush, A Guidebook and Treasure Hunt around California, commissioned by the Wattis Institute, San Francisco, (2002); The Battle of Orgreave, with Mike Figgis, Orgreave, South Yorkshire, co-production Artangel/Tate Britian (2001); His work has also been included in Faces in the Crowd, Castello di Rivoli, Turin (2005); Turner Prize, Tate Britain, London (2004); Manifesta 5, San Sebastian (2004); Monumentto Now, Deste Foundation, Athens (2003); Rock My World, CCAC Gallery, San Francisco (2002); Century City: Art and Culture in the Modern Metropolis, Tate Modern, London; Social Hackers, MUV Gallery, Helsinki/Centre d’Edition Contemporaine, Geneva (2000). Deller was winner of the Turner Prize in 2004 for his installation Memory Bucket (2003).
